Local Equipment Room and soundproof cabin for offshore rig
A prefab Local Equipment Room (LER) was installed on the Rowan Gorilla VI jackup rig for the modern drilling control systems. Alara-Lukagro produced the LER in close consultation with Keppel Verolme, in accordance with all the applicable standards and legislation. Alara-Lukagro also supplied a soundproof control cabin for the rig.
Offshore jackup rig upgrade
The Rowan Gorilla VI jackup rig was in the Keppel Verolme yard for an extensive upgrade. During this period the yard carried out diverse maintenance and adjustments. A prefab LER was also installed for the modern drilling control system.
Local Equipment Room
The Local Equipment Room (LER) serves as a storage or installation room for mechanical or electrical equipment. Given the technical room is located on an offshore platform, many safety rules and regulations apply. Alara-Lukagro produced the LER in close consultation with Keppel Verolme, in accordance with all the applicable standards and legislation.
Quiet offshore workplace
In addition Alara-Lukagro was asked to find a solution for the noise in the mud pump room and shaker room. The noise level was too high for the employees to work there. Alara-Lukagro designed and installed two soundproof cabins for both rooms in which the employees can work undisturbed.

Alara-Lukagro supplied the Local Equipment Room and soundproof cabin complete for the jackup rig, including:

- Engineering that complied with all the standards and legislation applicable to this job
