Acoustic measures for potato drying installation

Agristo is a Belgian company, which specialises in producing frozen and prebaked potato products. In 2009, Agristo commissioned a completely new production line in Tilburg.

For its client Agristo Tilburg, Alara-Lukagro designed, produced and installed acoustic measures for the suction openings of the potato drying installation.

Sixteen splitters were fitted in the duct, equal to a total height of 4,560 mm. The splitters were fitted in sections, which made it possible to omit two splitters and install an access door in their place.

The total opening was subsequently sealed with (ridge-shaped) louvres. There is an access door in the louvres, providing access to the area between the louvres and the splitters.
