Acoustic containers
Alara-Lukagro’s acoustic containers specifically designed for emergency or essential generator sets (diesel or gas driven), fire water pumps, compressor trains, compressors, pumps, etc.
- Low noise emission: Meet the applicable noise requirement or limit noise to the bare minimum. Controlled noise reduction with guaranteed end result.
- Fire resistant: These low noise emissions are possible in combination with fire resitancy. Fire ratings starting from A-0 to J-120 can be achieved.
- Minimal footprint: Well thought out design taking into account the importance of a compact general arrangement.
Properties of an Alara-Lukagro container:
- Proven design: We perform strengh calculations taking into account not only transportation loads, wind and snow loads, but also blast loads and seismic loads. This can be done according to various standards and design codes (Eurocode or AISC 360-10).
- High standards: We are capable to be compliant with high standards, high-specification design (NORSOK), engineering, welding (according to EN 1090 or AWS D1.1/D1.1M) and fabrication, high documentation requirements and continuous coordination with a client’s schedule and processes.
- Quality: quality inspections are performed by Alara-Lukagro personnel and/or Notified Bodies (NOBO) according to the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
- Material identification: use of traceable materials, traceability level I and II. NDE inspections, visual, magnetic, radiography and/or ultrasonic inspection. PMI on stainless steel materials.
- Hazardous areas: equipment and protective systems used suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX enviroment).
- Protective coating: surface preparation and surface treatment according to offshore Oil & Gas standards or Norsok, including procedures and reports. Quality inspections by Alara-Lukagro personnel and/or inspections by NACE.
- Optimal performance: the enclosure is executed with sound attenuated ventilation provisions tailored to an appropriate cooling of installed machinery.
- Functional, safe and durable design: taking into account easy maintenance and accessibility. Safety by means of escape routes and fire protection for instance. Furthermore durable materials are used considering harsh conditions.

Ventilation sets, silencers and acoustic louvres
The basic principle of a ventilation set includes an air inlet and air outlet system for the ventilation of heat radiation, air inlet for combustion air and eventual a purge system. All possibly including: splitter silencers, acoustic louvres, heat tracing, demister panels, filtration and/or sand filtration, (fire) dampers, fan plenums, axial fans for forced ventilation (over pressure or under pressure), anti-condensation heaters and redundancy. Exhaust gas silencers and Vent silencers completes the noise control package that we can offer to you.
