Corona Virus update: March 18th 2020

Dear customer,

Yesterday more stringent measures were announced to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. The European government leaders have decided to drastically limit the possibility to travel to the Schengen zone. The Dutch government has then advised only to travel abroad when strictly necessary.  Dutch citizens who are already abroad for reasons that are not strictly necessary are called upon to see if they can leave as soon as possible.

Although, in principle, the new measures do not apply to frontier workers, it is becoming increasingly difficult to carry out work abroad. On the one hand because of the impact that the measures taken by the authorities have on travelers, on the other hand because it is becoming increasingly difficult to organize meals and overnight stays on location.

Despite these recent developments, Alara-Lukagro will try to continue assemblies outside the Netherlands for as long as possible. In the extreme case, when circumstances force us to do so, we may have to postpone or suspend an assembly.

When this occurs we will of course contact you. However, it is expected that, as long as there is no prospect of significant improvements with regard to the spread of the virus, there will only be very limited possibilities to restart in the short term.

We will also consider the possibilities on a case-by-case basis for assemblies that have not yet been started up.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

Kind regards,

André Hameete
