Ventilation packages for Diesel motor FPSO

East Hub Development project

The East Hub Development Project involves the development of the Cabaça North and Cabaca South-East discoveries located within Block 15 /06, approximately 350km north-east of Luanda, Angola.

FPSO Armada Olombendo

The FPSO has been converted from an existing double-hull trading tanker “Armada ALI” (ex. “M.T. OSPREY”). The FPSO is owned by Bumi Armada. A FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) is a floating platform for the production, handling and storage of oil and gas.

Ventilation packages

Each ventilation package consist:

• Air inlet system with an air inlet hood (S355) with demisters (aluminium), A60 splitter silencers (stainless steel), Atex certified valves out of stainless steel a servomotor cotrolled (Zone 1 Gr IIB T3), axiaal fans (Zone 1 Gr IIB T3), and ventilation plenums (stainless steel).
• Purge systeem. Air inlet with Atex certified valves out of stainless steel a servomotor cotrolled (Zone 1 Gr IIB T3), axiaal fans (Zone 1 Gr IIB T3), and ventilation plenums (stainless steel). Integrated in the air inlet systeem above. Air outlet with Atex certified valves out of stainless steel a servomotor cotrolled (Zone 1 Gr IIB T3) and outside air vents (stainless steel).
• Air outlet systeem with A60 splitter silencers (stainless steel), Atex certified valves out of rvs a servomotor cotrolled (Zone 1 Gr IIB T3) and outside air vents (stainless steel).

Preservation

The stainless steel parts are pickeled and passivated. The externally placed, (galvanized) steel ventilation components are provided with a 4-layer wet paint with DFT 300 μm, suitable for offshore applications.
