Adjustment container Nijlpaard

Alara-Lukagro doesn’t only produce special containers, but can also adjust existing container to equip them with the necessary noise control solutions. An example is the hydraulic container for Nijlpaard, a floating crane.

Adjustment container

OBA Bulk Terminal Amsterdam provided a new hydraulic container. Alara-Lukagro equiped it with:

A drip tray including cable channel and vibration isolation. By placing 20 pieces of fibreglass isolation pads (50 x 50 x 50 mm) under the skid, all vibrations are absorbed.
Anti-drumming and isolation at the walls and the ceiling.
A splitter silencer at the air supply on the outside of the container.

Nijlpaard

The ‘Nijlpaard’ is a floating slewing crane that is used in the harbour of Amsterdam by OBA Bulk to unload large vessels directly on board. This crane has a lifting power of 50.000 kilograms. OBA Bulk Terminal Amsterdam is specialised in the storage and handling of dry bulk goods.
