Hanza Scherm BV selected Alara-Lukagro as the supplier of 60 soundproof escape doors for the acoustic barriers along the railway line:

• 35 low escape doors with a height of 1,505 mm
• 25 high escape doors with a height of 2,505 mm

Design

To guarantee an optimal acoustic seal the doors were fitted with a special profile rubber. In addition they were fitted with an extra heavy anchor chain and cylinder lock, including panic function with a handle on the railway side and a fixed button on the residential side. All doors were also supplied with key safes. The low doors are fitted with a special door closer. This enables easy access and sound attenuated self-closing, and is damage-proof. Alara-Lukagro applied a three-coat paint system to the doors.
